a 1.0 LAMINATED TRANSFORMERS APPLICATION Home Appliance , Entertainment Electronics (TV, Audio), Microwave Ovens, Emergency Lights, Adapters, Power Supplies /Power Conditioning, Telecom, UPS, Information Technology Products and other similar. Power Conditioning Transformers for stabilised power supply (220V+/-8%) with power rating upto 5KVA suitable for a wide range of electrical/electronic appliances. PRINCIPLES 1. Transfers electric power from one circuit to another without change in frequency. 2. Laminations have silicon content so as to produce a high permeability and a low hysteresis loss at the usual operating flux densities. 3. Eddy current loss is minimised using thin laminations being insulated by varnish on the surface. 4. Commonly used in instruments such as voltmeter, voltage coils wattmeters and Protective Relays. 5. Steps up very low voltages for ease of measurement and steps down very high voltage to low levels for safety in measurements. |
